The Washington Wizards are not playing good basketball. That's just a fact. Currently sitting 4-9, the season really couldn't have gotten off to a worse start for them.
Due to their abysmal start to the season, tickets to go see the Wizards are as cheap as five bucks on StubHub. That's right. Five bucks.
If the Wizards don’t get back over .500, they’ll enter a pretty exclusive group of expensive teams.— Fred Katz (@FredKatz) November 13, 2018
I went back and tallied every taxpaying team ever. Here’s some historical context for this Washington squad: https://t.co/M0SnpFaQYV pic.twitter.com/jG0beRXmJ6
When tickets to your games are less expensive than a stadium beer, it's safe to say that you're a bad team. But does anyone even want to pay a fiver to watch this team right now?
The Wizards will hope to turn it all around quickly after their terrible start, but things are not looking too good. All signs point to a dysfunctional locker room, and that doesn't show signs of changing.
