The New Orleans Saints are on top of the world right now.
After defeating the (then) undefeated Rams 45-35 on Sunday, Drew Brees and Co. are now 7-1 on the year and look like the clear favorites to capture the NFC title. Is a Super Bowl in their future?
While the team is loaded with offensive weapons, including Brees, Mark Ingram, Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara and others, could even more help be on the way? How about a 6-2, 220-pound receiver with 7,459 career yards and 73 touchdowns...
The #Saints are bringing in 3 wide receivers tomorrow to workout for the team among them Dez Bryant per sources informed.— Jane Slater (@SlaterNFL) November 6, 2018
Well well well, Dez Bryant is working out for the Saints and fans are pumped. On the field, so is Kamara.
While Bryant hasn't played a single snap in a game since last January, there's no denying he can still be a playmaker for an offense, especially one trying to power a team to a SB crown. Kamara fully knows this.
The good old 'silent' emoji. Does Kamara know something we don't? Have the two sides already agreed to a deal, but an announcement won't be made until later in the week?
At this point, all we know is No. 88 is headed to the Big Easy for a workout and could end up being a new target for the NFL's career leader in passing yards in Brees.
Will this end up going down? From the looks of Kamara's tweet, we should be getting our answer soon.
