After a hot start, an injury to starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill have sent the Miami Dolphins into a bit of a free fall. After a 3-0 start, they have slipped to 4-4, including a loss on Thursday Night game against the Houston Texans.

With Brock Osweiler starting the last two games due to Tannehill's injury, head coach Adam Gase confirmed that Brock will get another chance on Sunday against the Jets.

Osweiler latched on in Miami after a stint backing up Peyton Manning in Denver, his momentous $72 million flop in Houston, and a return to Denver for a year.

With a 64.3% completion percentage, six touchdowns, and three interceptions, Osweiler hasn't been awful, but he is certainly a downgrade from Tannehill. His most impressive game was easily his win against the Bears in which he put up 31 points on one of the better defenses in the league in Chicago.

With the Jets defense playing surprisingly well, Osweiler could be in for a rough one, as his poor showing against the Texans shows that he is regressing a bit. If Tannehill can't get healthy soon, you might as well stick a fork in the Dolphins.
