For those of you that may have forgotten, Blake Griffin is now the lead man for the Pistons after a mid-season trade brought him to Detroit last season. The initial returns on the trade were not great for the Pistons, as they failed to make the playoffs despite adding the star. Still, pairing Griffin with center Andre Drummond gives Detroit one of the best frontcourts in the NBA.

Tonight Griffin showed why the Pistons acquired him as he played one of the best games of his career.

Not only did Griffin score 50 points with 15 rebounds and seven assists, but he also sealed the game with three-point play on a drive to the basket with just two seconds left on the clock.

Griffin is playing at an MVP level so far this season. A return to the All-Star Game for the first time since the 2014-15 season should be in the cards for Griffin.
