The fourth quarter of the Cowboys-Redskins game was a rollercoaster ride for Dallas fans and it ended in heartbreak. After securing another touchdown, the 'Boys were down by three and needed a field goal to head to OT and fight for the win. Unfortunately, the cards were not in their favor as kicker Brett Maher barely missed a 52-yard FG with only two seconds on the clock.

Ugh, so close, yet so far away.
Maher's miss broke his 16-kick streak and put the Cowboys at third in the NFC East with a 3-4 record. To make matters worse, this is the first time the team has lost to the Redskins in almost two years.
The team had the chance to win with their original placement on the 47-yard line, but a 5-yard penalty pushed the team back and sealed their fate. With a bye week coming up, the team has to reconfigure their offense, because this is rough to watch.
