ESPN's College GameDay had never once been to Pullman, Washington. And on Saturday night, the No. 25 Washington State Cougars didn't waste the opportunity, completing a 34-20 upset victory over No. 12 Oregon.

The Ducks have to be commended for storming back from an outrageous 27-0 halftime deficit, but the day truly belongs to Wazzu senior quarterback Gardner Minshew. He hit three touchdown passes in the second quarter alone, adding a fourth in the final period to put the result out of reach. To go along with 323 passing yards on 51 attempts, it was a classic QB performance for Mike Leach's offense.
Combined with a surprisingly strong defensive performance against the capable Ducks, it's not a bad day at the office for the 6-1 Cougars. Oh, and did you catch James Williams' touchdown run in the first quarter?

Oh, man. That is just gorgeous.
The race for the Pac-12 title only gets more interesting now. At this point, the Apple Cup against Washington on Nov. 23 could turn out to be the biggest in years with a North Division title on the line.

These aren't your daddy's Cougs! They aren't your slightly older brother's Cougs, either. Party in Pullman tonight!
