Could running back LeSean McCoy be returning to the Philadelphia Eagles?
According to Josh Reed of WIVB in Buffalo, the Eagles have reached out to the Buffalo Bills about a potential McCoy trade on the heels of Jay Ajayi being out for the season with a torn ACL.
The #Eagles have reached out to the #Bills about a possible trade for LeSean McCoy, per source. Philly just lost RB Jay Ajayi for the season due to a torn ACL. McCoy spent the first 6 seasons of his career with the Eagles and is the franchise all-time leading rusher.— Josh Reed (@4JoshReed) October 9, 2018
The 30-year-old running back spent the first six seasons of his career in Philadelphia, rushing for over 1,000 yards four times and accumulating 54 total touchdowns. His departure didn't go so well, but with the Bills being in the middle of a rebuilding project, I'm sure he'd like to return to the defending champs.

The Eagles have the cap room to bring aboard McCoy, who is under contract for two more years, thanks in part to defensive stud Fletcher Cox restructuring his contract.
There have also been calls for the team to inquire about Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, but perhaps the Eagles don't want to deal with that headache and can instead acquire a back that's previously been in Philly.
