Every New York Giants fan in the New York/New Jersey area just collectively spit out their coffee in shock.
The 1-4 G-Men just can't seem to get on track for the second season in a row, and one of the biggest problems with the team has been draft bust Ereck Flowers, who has been one of the worst offensive linemen in the entire league since making his debut. New York has FINALLY realized that, and the former Miami Hurricane will reportedly be released on Tuesday if he's not traded by 4 p.m. ET.

Flowers was replaced with Chad Wheeler on the offensive line after being given a chance to prove himself at right tackle this season. That didn't go as planned despite the Giants beefing up the unit as a whole, and that was the last straw for the organization.
Friendly reminder: The #Giants drafted Ereck Flowers (9th overall) one pick ahead of Todd Gurley (10th overall).— NFL Update (@MySportsUpdate) September 28, 2018
Yes, that sound you hear is every Big Blue fan quietly weeping to themselves.
Hard to believe they've waited this long to pull the trigger on this, but decided to end Eli Manning's start streak last year in favor of Geno Smith, right?
