Purley balderdash! At least that's what Mike Scioscia's tone was at the beginning of August when MLB insider and The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal broke the news that Mike would be done as the Los Angeles Angels manager after 19 seasons at the end of this year.

Scioscia famously told reporters that Rosenthal's claims were "poppycock."

Well, here we are, almost two months later and Scioscia is, in fact, leaving as he announced earlier Sunday when the Angels finished their season against the Oakland Raiders in a 5-4 victory.

Rosenthal took to Twitter to respond to the news that he already knew.

Well done, Rosey.

Scioscia, on the other hand, created a Twitter account on his end to respond to Rosenthal's troll job by calling Ken a "rubbish blather." He mentioned him and everything. Don't look it up, just take our word for it.
