Remember during his rookie season when Rams fans thought maybe Jared Goff wasn't fit to be considered the future of this team? Well, let's not forget he had Jeff Fisher as his head coach.

Oh, how times have changed. Led by Goff's cannon for a right arm, the Rams just sent another major statement to the NFL, taking down the Vikings 38-31.

With the win, L.A. is now 4-0, its best start since they were 4-0 in 2001 back in St. Louis.

And make no mistake about it, Sean McVay will be giving Goff a huge hug after his brilliant performance. Just how good was he? The third-year signal caller completed 26-of-33 passes for 465 yards and five touchdowns.

Yup, that's a passer rating of 158.3. Just another night in the office for No. 16.

With his big night, that meant his receivers were also in for some big stats. Cooper Kupp led the way with a career-high 162 yards and two touchdowns. Brandin Cooks caught seven balls for 116 yards and a TD, while Robert Woods finished with 101 yards and a score.

As for the Vikings, Kirk Cousins threw for 422 yards and three touchdowns. However, you can't expect to give up 38 points and get a win. What has happened to Minnesota's defense over the past two weeks?

The party is going to be live in L.A. this evening. The Rams may just be the best team in the NFL.
