Uh oh, the Philadelphia Eagles are finally starting to get healthy again and that should be something that scares the living daylights out of the rest of the NFL. Carson Wentz returned last week and now, Alshon Jeffery has been cleared for contact and returned to the practice field today.
Come on Eagles fans, I know you're absolutely hyped to see this.
Jeffery has not seen the field, or any football action for that matter, since the Eagles Won Super Bowl LII. He had shoulder surgery back in February and wasn't cleared for any kind of contact until Wednesday.
Jeffery was a huge reason why the Eagles were champions last season, starting all 16 games and catching 57 passes for 789 yards and nine touchdowns.
In the playoffs, he had 12 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns.
With the Eagles failing to score more than 21 points in their first three games, the return of Jeffery will provide a spark to an Eagles offense that has been underwhelming thus far.
Jeffery's status for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans is uncertain, but this is obviously key for his potential return.
