Things are going well for the 3-0 Los Angeles Rams. Nobody else in the NFC West has a winning record, and their next two games are against Vikings and Seahawks teams in the midst of uncharacteristic struggles.

But the news in SoCal isn't unconditionally positive-- per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, defensive back Marcus Peters is expected to miss at least two weeks and as many as four with a calf injury.

Peters picked up the ailment in the second half of Sunday's Week 3 win over the crosstown rival Chargers and did not return to live action. After a trip to the locker room, he was seen wearing a walking boot.

An MRI is coming imminently that will shed light on the extent of the injury and give Rams fans a better sense of how long their new secondary acquisition will have to ride the pine. As it stands, fingers ought to be crossed that the standout corner can make it back at least by the end of October.
