The Atlanta Falcons just can't catch a break this season.

As if two last-second losses in three weeks wasn't enough, they've been getting absolutely decimated by injuries.  Devonta Freeman is still sidelined, Deion Jones is on the IR, and Keanu Neal is done for the year after tearing his ACL.

They can add another player to that long list of injured stars as Ricardo Allen is done for the year.

Atlanta needs to start wrapping their players in bubble wrap or something.

This is a tough breaking for Allen who is one of the better up-and-coming secondary players in the league. He just signed a three-year extension and was already having an impressive start to the season with 17 total tackles, three passes defended and one pick.

It's hard to imagine how this defense is going to stay afloat with so many key players out, especially in the secondary. They can't afford to keep things the way they are with both Allen and Neal out. It's unclear how the Falcons plan on upgrading, but a move must be made.

The Falcons can't allow an injury like this to cost them their season, but losing yet another play of Allen's caliber is a tough pill to swallow.
