The contending Minnesota Vikings are still looking for depth at the wide receiver position, and to address that need, they signed veteran wide receiver Aldrick Robinson on Monday.

The former sixth-round pick out of SMU back in 2011 has played for four organizations previously, including the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and the San Francisco 49ers just last season.

In 70 career games, the speedy wideout has 69 receptions for 1,191 yards and nine touchdowns.

Minnesota already has two big time receivers in Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, but Robinson joins a group that features Jarius Wright and Laquon Treadwell as backups of varying quality.

Robinson worked out for the Vikings prior to Week 1, so obviously he made an impression on them, and will have an opportunity to nan the still-available third receiver role behind Diggs and Thielen.
