The Nick Foles era in Philadelphia is coming to an end.
After a valiant showing over his past seven games, he'll shift back into the second-string role with the Eagles. Carson Wentz has been medically cleared and will start on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
That sound was entire city of Philadelphia erupting in happiness. Their franchise quarterback is returning following a loss and the fanbase cannot wait to see him in action for the first time since December.
This is the first good injury news the Eagles have had in quite some time. With Alshon Jeffery still out, Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles banged up, Mike Wallace potentially missing the entire season, among other troubling developments, Philly needed something positive to offset all of the early-season troubles.
