Move out of the way, Cowboys. Let's see where he's going with this.
According to Landon Collins, the New York Giants are really America's team.
I'm sure this comment will make Cowboys fans love the Giants more than they already do.
The divisional rivals will clash this weekend for the first time of the season, and I'd bet that the Cowboys fans at AT&T Stadium will have a response to Collins' comment, rocking plenty of Americana of their own persuasion.
Regardless, we can't really argue with his logic here. The Giants' colors are red, white, and blue. The Cowboys colors are white, silver, and blue. Collins is clearly onto something here. Though in terms of actual popularity, Dallas likely still has the advantage.
While the answer to who is truly America's team isn't clear, the Giants' game plan for the Cowboys this Sunday is well-articulated.
Collins believes that putting a stop to Ezekiel Elliott's run game is the key to victory for the Giants. We'd agree.
Though it's one thing to say you need to stop Zeke. It's an entirely different thing to actually do that.
