Have the Lions considered using wide receiver Kenny Golladay on defense at all? If they haven't, he just gave defensive-guru and head coach Matt Patricia a reason to explore the possibility. After QB Matt Stafford threw an interception into the hands of Jets CB Trumaine Johnson, Golladay unleashed an old school "jacked up" hit on the veteran and got the ball back for the Lions.
MY GOD! THAT'S KENNY GOLLADAY'S MUSCI!! THE HELL IS HE DOIN' HERE?!
That was as textbook and vicious of a hit you'll see. He lowered his shoulder directly into Johnson's chest, dislodged the ball, and Johnson was horizontal in no time.
The Lions got a new set of downs after that, but failed to convert. Keep your eyes peeled for Golladay taking some reps at linebacker tonight.
