This is the LAST news any fan of the Green Bay Packers -- or of beautiful, fantastic football -- would ever want to hear. After Going down to the turf and grasping his knee during the Pack's season opener against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, quarterback Aaron Rodgers headed to the team's medical tent. Now, he's exited the field of play entirely, getting carted off to the locker room for further evaluation.

This is just about the worst possible occurrence for the Packers so early in their season, particularly given Rodgers' collarbone injury last year that derailed the team's campaign and shoved them out of the playoff picture.

No further updates have been provided as of yet, and it's worth noting that the Packers use their injury cart for more situations than simply the dire, season-altering ones. But the look on Rodgers' face as he exited was not a positive one.
Fingers crossed, Cheeseheads.
