This is not the news the Falcons need right now.
With the offense struggling mightily, in large part due to the terrible play calling from Steve Sarkisian, the defense is truly keeping Atlanta in the ball game.
However, things just got a bit tricky. Pro Bowl safety Keanu Neal went down with a knee injury and was questionable to return. Moments ago, though, the Falcons announced he's out for the rest of the game.

Make no mistake about it, this is a huge bummer for the Falcons.
Neal went down earlier in the game with a non-contact injury, but was able to return after stretching things out. However, he banged his knee once again and this time the pain was too much for him to keep playing with.
Keanu Neal is walking off the field under his own power. After he returned the first time, he was spotted stretching the knee, running in place. He hasn't seemed pain free at all since coming back in the game.

The Falcons will now further evaluate his injury and hope this isn't serious.
