The 2018 NFL season is finally here! 

This season's first Monday Night Football game will be a good one, as the ​New York Jets and the ​Detroit Lions face off. For fans, they will be able to witness the regular season debut of Jets first-round pick Sam Darnold, who was named ​the team's starting quarterback.

The game will take place in Detroit at Ford Field.

For fans who are interested in watching the game, ​you can watch the game on ESPN at 7:10 PM ET. This will be ESPN's 13th season of broadcasting Monday Night Football. ESPN veteran broadcaster Beth Mowins will be on hand to call the game with analyst Brian Griese and sideline reporter Laura Rutledge. 

If you can't access ESPN on cable, then you can stream the game with DirecTV Now, Hulu with Live TV, PlayStation Vue, and YouTube TV (which is only available in select areas).

And for fans who enjoy listening to the game on the radio, you can listen to the game on WJR-760 AM for the Lions' broadcast while you can listen to the Jets' broadcast on 1050 ESPN.
