After all the talk, Jim Harbaugh is still not going anywhere. According to University of Michigan president Mark Schlissel, the embattled head coach is not on the hot seat.

Many Michigan fans have been growing increasingly frustrated with Harbaugh for failing to get his team to deliver during big games. The Wolverines lost their opener to Notre Dame, 24-17, and have now lost four straight games dating back to last season.
Lol Jim Harbaugh is the worst. I can’t wait to watch him get fired. 8-8 in his last 16 games. Dude should coach Friday nights in High School.

Fans are understandably upset since Michigan has been in a position to succeed for a while now but just haven't been able to get it done. Although he started off his coaching tenure at Michigan with a strong 17-3, Harbaugh has since gone 11-9 and still hasn't beaten a ranked opponent on the road yet.
With Schlissel's reassurance, however, we can expect to see Harbaugh at Michigan for quite a long time. However, that doesn't give him the excuse to get complacent. The Wolverines have had disappointing ends to their seasons for a couple years now, and Harbaugh needs to win now to repair his slightly shaken image.
