Even after Nike's partnership with controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick drew harsh criticisms from celebrities and fans around the world, it hasn't stopped the company from moving forward with the campaign. During Thursday Night Football this week, which will feature the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Atlanta Falcons in the inaugural game of the 2018 NFL season, Nike will unveil their new advertisement which features Kaepernick giving a motivational speech.

The advertisement, which will surely divide fans even further on the Kaepernick/Nike issue, features Kaepernick narrating and talking about athletes overcoming obstacles to reach their goals and just tells everyone to be the best they can be and not to imitate anybody else.
Regardless of whatever side of the debate that you are on, you have to admit that Kaepernick's message is not only inspiring, but something that we can all relate to, as we all have things that we have to overcome throughout life to get to where we want to be.
Nike hasn't cared about what anyone has had to say throughout the whole process and clearly don't plan on changing things.
Come Thursday night, we'll see how America as a whole responds.
