It's officially all over for Rick Pitino. The veteran coach has officially retired. This comes after an ugly divorce from Louisville. On Sports Illustrated Now, though, Pitino explained why he is so convinced that the governor of Kentucky had something to do with his firing from Louisville.

With all of the controversy that surrounded him for the past few years, Pitino has officially thrown in the towel.

These are all issues that Pitino discusses in depth in his new book. He'll be remembered as a legendary coach, but his reputation has undoubtedly been tarnished as well.
