Big news came on Friday out of the college basketball scene with the number one overall prospect in the sport announcing his visiting schedule as he prepares to choose a school. That prospect is named James Wiseman, a 6-11, 210-pound center who currently has a schedule of four schools he'll be visiting shortly.

The highly touted prospect will begin the process in Kentucky on Sept. 7th, then travel to Kansas on the 28th. Then in October, he will travel to Vanderbilt and Florida State respectively.

All four schools are also planning in-home visits to the young 5-star prospect. While this schedule is likely set in stone, that doesn't mean other schools won't get a shot at the youngster. Arizona, Memphis, North Carolina, and Texas are also in pursuit of attracting Wiseman to their programs.

While NCAA basketball is out of the spotlight right now, this is certainly something to excite the fans of the schools in the picture. Surely they and everyone else will be paying close attention to this potentially program-altering recruiting process.
