Having a great uniform is essential for winning football games. Why do you think the Cleveland Browns have never won a Super Bowl?
In the words of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, "If you look good, you feel good, if you feel good, you play good, if you play good, they pay good." Words to remember for a lifetime.
In a gesture to honor the islands of Hawaii during its struggle through Hurricane Lane, the University of Hawaii changed their helmet into the state's geographic shape.
The black background with the green/blue coloring of the islands blends nicely and it looks a lot better than the standard "H" that has occupied their helmets in the past. Who wouldn't want to strap this on and hit someone on the field?
The Rainbow Warriors are going back to the run-and-shoot offense. Does that mean you bet over 56.5 points when Hawaii takes on Colorado State Saturday night? https://t.co/Gk6jboLxrU— SI Gambling (@SIGambling) August 25, 2018
After going 3-9 last season, this could be exactly what the Rainbow Warriors need to provide a spark for this football team. Remember when the Seattle Seahawks changed their uniforms and won the Super Bowl the next season? With these new helmets, there's no doubt that success will follow them.
