At this point in the preseason, fewer and fewer NFL teams are rolling out their star players for significant reps. That means more time for the unsung, unproven guys to stake their claim and make their presence known. Enter rookie running back Royce Freeman of the Denver Broncos, who showed some get-up-and-go on this nifty touchdown carry tonight agains the Redskins.

That's some attractive burst from the 22-year-old.

A third-round pick in April's draft out of Oregon, Freeman ran for over 5,600 yards in a college career that included two All-Pac-12 nods and conference Freshman of the Year honors. And he's poised to keep on rolling in this one if Washington's D refuses to wake up.
