Players weekend has quickly caught on as one of the most fun times of the baseball season. Not only do the players get to wear their nicknames on the back of their jerseys, but they get to customize a bunch of their other gear.
Boston Red Sox MVP candidate Mookie Betts is taking full advantage of the opportunity with these sick cleats that he will wear this weekend.
The Nike cleats are red with red and black laces, but along the side of the foot is an awesome mural of the legendary Fenway Park scoreboard in left field. There is also a cartoon of Boston's mascot, Wally the Green Monster, and a cool depiction of an outfield glove.
The Red Sox have not even played a game yet but they may have already won the weekend thanks to these cleats.

Betts has had an amazing season in 2018. In 109 games, Betts is hitting .340 with 24 stolen bases, 27 home runs, 64 RBI, and a 1.064 OPS for the first place Red Sox. Not only does he look likely to win the American League MVP this season, but he also could have the freshest gear of anyone in the bigs this weekend.
