Davante Adams goes into the season as the Green Bay Packers' No. 1 wide receiver. However, this offseason, he's shown that he's more than that, especially to a lucky fan.
Michael Crook, a longtime Packers follower, has loved Adams ever since the Packers drafted him in 201. So much in fact, that he bought his jersey as soon as the team made it official.
This offseason, Crook was walking back to his car in the parking lot of Lambeau Field after a fishing trip with a friend of his. Suddenly a car pulled up to him and complimented him on his jersey. The driver was Davante Adams.

"I’m like, ‘Oh man, that’s Davante Adams.’”

The two talked for a bit and Crook showed Adams some of the new apparel he had just bought. Adams then asked Crook if he wanted him to sign the jersey, but Crook forgot to bring a pen. Adams said if he wanted an autograph, he could come to the Packers' practice the next day and he would sign it for him.
Crook then attended the practice, the first he'd been to in about four or five years. As promised, Adams then signed his jersey, cementing a memory Crook will always cherish. Amazing stuff.
