The MLB injury bug has taken out it's fair share of star power in recent weeks, and it has made its way down south to Atlanta in the form of A.J. Minter's back.

According to Rotoworld Baseball, Minter will be trying to get back on the hill by Wednesday, just in time for a primetime showdown against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

While the injury isn't serious, the Braves are being cautious here.

Just barely sitting at the top of their division at 69-55, Atlanta will need Minter back in the 'pen soon. The Philadelphia Phillies are only trailing by one game with a 68-56 record, while the Nationals also have 62 wins on the season.

Minter has been through back treatment for the past week, in hopes of getting back into the bullpen as quickly as possible. He was also playing catch on Tuesday without any issues.

Atlanta will play the Pirates in their second game of the series tonight in hopes of creating more separation in the NL East.
