Before Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was a primary Hollywood figure of masculinity, he was a football star at the University of Miami, and eventually made his way to the Canadian Football League. While not much his known about his professional playing days, we do now have photo evidence that it happened.

Johnson was a member of the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL, where he was on the practice squad for two months before he was cut. From there, Johnson took his talents to professional wrestling. There he became a household name and WWF star.
