These sort of things are bound to happen at practice in the dead heat of summer with NFL players just dying to hit someone. The New York Jets and Washington Redskins are hosting a series of joint scrimmages following preseason Week 1 games, and let's just say the energy from both those games has carried over into the weekend.

It appears that was Redskins big man Trent Williams who was in the mix as a key instigator. After the scuffle seemed to die down, Williams threw some hands at a Jets defensive player to reignite the fire and turn this thing into an all-out brawl.

After some dramatic moments, it looked like things got back under control and resumed with the coaches letting their men let it out of their systems.

That's the type of passion we're looking for this early in the season. We're just glad nobody got hurt this time.
