Bill Belichick is not known for showing any emotions whatsoever while the cameras are rolling. His intimidating penchant for stonefacing is infamous in footballing circles. And though the preseason slate has barely begun, the Patriots head coach is in midseason form when it comes to issuing incredibly blunt opinions.

Well, then.

Honestly, trying to glean useful information or analysis from Belichick before, during, or after a game is akin to trying to do the same with Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs. In each case, the perils are many and the chances of a positive result are massively slim.

But nevertheless, those media types soldier on.

Keep it up, Coach Belichick. We love you just the way you are. But we're awfully glad we don't have to be the ones sticking a microphone in your face.
