The floodgates have opened and the Yankees are officially laying the beatdown on the White Sox. While Giancarlo Stanton's grand slam initiated the blowout, New York's offense wasn't done giving Luis Severino additional run support. If Lucas Giolito wasn't disappointed enough with his performance tonight, Aaron Hicks decided to add another run for good measure. Despite having two strikes on the count, the switch-hitting slugger sent this monster shot near the bullpen.

Hicks now has 19 homers on the season, as he continues to increase his career-high with every bomb.

Considering the recent struggles of late for Severino, the Bronx Bombers can use every run they can get. Their recent offensive outburst has been impressive, but New York still has a long way to go before catching Boston in the division.

Regardless, they'll certainly appreciate Hicks' contribution.

With the lineup clicking and a big lead currently in hand, the Yankees look poised to complete the sweep in Chicago.
