The Boston Red Sox have the best record in baseball at 74-33 and seem destined for the postseason and one of the best years in franchise history.

However despite all of the success, World Series contenders are always looking to strengthen their bullpen, and the Red Sox are no different.

At the same time that Boston has seen the downfall of Joe Kelly, the New York Yankees have secured themselves the best bullpen in baseball after trading for Zach Britton. Options like Kirby Yates of the Padres, Keone Kela of the Rangers, or Brad Ziegler of the Marlins, would not make the Red Sox bullpen better than the Yankees, but would definitely be significant improvements.

Something tells me that Boston isn't too worried about the luxury tax at this point. If there was ever a year to be all in on winning a World Series, it would be this year for Boston.

The Red Sox are currently 5.5 games ahead of the Yankees in the AL East, but Boston will continue to do everything in their power to ensure they don't have to play in a Wild Card game when October rolls around.
