The glory days of the 2018 free agency period are over, however, that doesn't mean that there aren't any more valuable players still available.

Bashaud Breeland is perhaps the most valuable free agent still out there, and definitely the best cornerback available. With a lot of speculation as to where the corner may end up, we have some more details regarding the contract negotiations.

While the Kansas City Chiefs have offered Breeland a one-year contract with his desired annual money, apparently a longer-term deal is more appealing to the 26-year-old. Breeland had that sort of deal on the table earlier this summer with the Carolina Panthers, but a failed physical the contract was voided.

Breeland is evidently taking his time finding the right situation for himself after his blunder in Carolina. He'll be visiting the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday.

The real question is if anyone will invest longterm in a player who failed a physical just a couple of months ago. The Chiefs clearly have their doubts after only offering a "prove it" type deal.

Perhaps the Colts can cater to Breeland more.
