The New Orleans Saints were one of the biggest surprises in the NFL last season thanks in large part to their offense.

Drew Brees is a juggernaut for this team, but the emergence of Michael Thomas should not go unnoticed. He's on his way to becoming one of the best wide receivers in the game and should prove he's amongst the elite with one more stellar season under his belt.

Another big year is still in the works as the injured wideout was not placed on the PUP list, hinting he's close to returning to the field.

Seeing Brandon Coleman hit the PUP is not ideal, but it is surely better than seeing the Saints superstar out for longer.

He may have sat out for the team's minicamp, but that didn't stop him from getting absolutely jacked this offseason. Thomas will hopefully use that strength to continue to embarrass NFC South cornerbacks like he did last year on his way to a Saints reception record.

The Saints have no reason to rush Thomas back if he's still injured, but this is a good sign that he'll be participating at full strength in training camp in no time.
