To the outrage of many, Demarcus Cousins recently signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the reigning champion Golden State Warriors. Cousins has been heavily criticized for joining a team that already has little-to-no competition facing them for another likely championship run next season.

Oh, but it's real, and it's happening. Cousins showed us today what number he'll be wearing with the Dubs.

That there, my friends, is the smile of a man who knows he's got himself a free ring next season. In fact, he's being paid to get one!

Cousins will officially be wearing zero for the Warriors, which he also wore as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans. He wore number 15 back in his days as a Sacramento King.

While this news, like when Cousins joined the Warriors, will be met with many eye rolls, the man has said he was always aware of the kind of reactions he would get by signing with the juggernaut Warriors. In fewer words, he simply doesn't care.

If Cousins can truly be satisfied with any championships he might win in Golden State, then good for him. However, it's now official that the number of meaningful rings he wins as a part of the Warriors will be displayed in large font on his back.
