Manny Machado's days as a Baltimore Oriole are winding down quickly. Reports from earlier this week indicated that the .315 hitting slugger will be traded before the All-Star break ends, and now the only question is where he will go.
The Brewers, Yankees, and Dodgers have all been rumored to be in the hunt for the four-time All-Star, but the Philadelphia Phillies seem to have emerged as the favorite to land Machado.

It seems the Phillies are willing to give up just about anything for the shortstop, including their No. 2 overall prospect in right-handed pitcher Adonis Medina.
Medina has posted an 8-3 record with a solid 1.33 WHIP in the minors this season, although he could be putting on a different uniform in a couple of days.
Source: #Phillies are willing to include Adonis Medina, their No. 2 prospect, in offer for Manny Machado. The #Orioles have strong interest in Medina. This is a significant development. Medina is ranked as the No. 73 overall prospect on MLB.com, and the Orioles would love to secure the ace as they start their rebuilding process.
If the Phillies are truly willing to give up Medina, it is hard to imagine any other team matching their offer.
