The Manny Machado sweepstakes have been well underway for about 2-3 weeks now and Machado's nephew is tired of it. In a pre-Home Run Derby interview with the young man, Pedro Martinez asked him where he wants his uncle to land before the trade deadline. The response came as no surprise to anyone: he said the Yankees.

Of course he does.

Who wouldn't want their uncle to play for the Yankees? I know I sure would, but that doesn't look like a likely landing spot for the star SS/3B at this point. Just today more and more news has come out that the Orioles have narrowed their trade suitors for Machado down to the Dodgers, Brewers and Phillies, with the Phillies being the strongest.

The Phillies are one of a few teams that have surprised the MLB this year with their record at the All-Star break (53-42) and they seem ready to add Manny to their roster.

However, if it were up to Machado's nephew, he'd be staying in the AL East with New York.
