The South Carolina Gamecocks and Georgia Bulldogs will face off in Week 2 of the 2018-19 college football season. While the Dawgs will be heavy favorites entering the matchup, one man believes that his Gamecocks will beat all the odds and take down the defending SEC champions.

Tori Gurley, a former receiver for South Carolina, made a guarantee on The Paul Finebaum Show that UGA would fall on October 8th in Columbia.

The two teams met in November of last year, with Georgia easily winning by two touchdowns. South Carolina would finish at 9-4 overall, while the Bulldogs fell to Alabama in the CFP National Championship in dramatic fashion.

That's certainly a bold statement by Gurley, who may or may not have let his pride blind his senses just a bit.

Whatever his intentions, Gurley only did one thing here, and that's give the Bulldogs some more motivation to bring it to Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks this fall.

With all that talent, they likely won't need it anyway. But what's done is done.
