Point guard Jeremy Lin was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night to join his seventh NBA team in nine seasons. However, one team of Lin's included his most notable teammate: Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba has always been known as an intimidating presence in games, but he could even trash talk his own teammates during practice, such as Lin himself.

In the video, Lin brings the ball up before being matched up with Bryant, and is dared to pull up from deep 3-point range. For some reason, Lin listened, and jacked up a shot that was a straight brick. Kobe got into his head, and both players knew it.

Didn't Lin know that Kobe was one of the greatest trash talkers in NBA history? On the other hand, however, if Lin hadn't shot it, Bryant likely would've mocked him for being scared or something similar. If Lin drained the shot, Kobe would probably say that it was just lucky or a fluke. There was just no going around it.

Lin only played for the Lakers in the 2014-15 season, which was their worst one to date at the time (the 2015-16 season was even worse) as they finished with a record of 21-61, the league's fourth worst that year. Regardless, Lin has never had a more iconic and famed teammate than Bryant in his career.

Hopefully, on such a young Hawks roster, Lin won't be mocked or intimidated on the practice floor. Instead, maybe he could be Trae Young's Kobe Bryant during practice, but just younger, without a Hall of Fame pedigree.
