The New York Yankees are just 8-6 in their last 14 games, causing them to fall 3.5 games behind the Red Sox for the AL East lead. They entered their series against Cleveland hoping to get their dominance back on track, and Brett Gardner just helped their efforts in a huge way.

Gardy goes yardy indeed. His low-hit line drive had just enough air on it to go over the right field wall, tying the game at two apiece in the third inning.

Brett Gardner has been a staple in the Yankees lineup for years, and New York fans have gotten used to plays like this from the former All-Star.

The outfielder also continues his hot hitting streak, and he now has three home runs in his last seven games. Gardner has been dominating in pinstripes for over a decade now, and it does not look like that is going to change anytime soon.
