Talk about a shocker. MLB announced that Seattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura won the AL final vote and is headed to the All-Star Game earlier tonight, throwing a wrench in Boston's Brock Holt's plan to get outfielder Andrew Benintendi the coveted final spot on the AL All Star roster.

After he found out about the news, Segura took to social media to thank all of his fans. Segura posted a video in which he showed nothing but class toward all of his fans.

Great move by Segura to thank all of the fans who helped him make 2018 his second All-Star season, and his first while in the AL. I'm sure all the fans who helped make Segura's dream a reality will be thrilled to know that the Mariners star appreciates their efforts.
