Jordan Davis, a 4-star defensive end, has opted to take the junior college route before enrolling at Alabama. Although he originally intended to enroll early at Bama, Davis will attend Copiah-Lincoln Community College, which is located in Mississippi.

The 6-5, 238-lbs lineman is already impressing at the college, according to AL.com.

"Very excited about him being here," Glenn Davis said in a text message via AL.com. "He looks like the guys that Coach Saban recruits normally. Bright future."

Davis won't be the lone Alabama recruit to take this specific route, however. Former Alabama cornerback DeQuan Menzie also went to Copiah-Lincoln before playing under Nick Saban.

Although he won't be playing for Saban in the near future, is anyone really surprised at seeing yet another great talent's name being attached to Alabama?
