The Baltimore Orioles are the worst team in the bigs, but currently, they hold two of the most valuable trade pieces as the 2018 trade deadline approaches.

Those two players are LHP Zach Britton and All-Star SS Manny Machado. Both are proven talents who could easily help any contender with their push for a playoff spot.

One team heavily linked with Machado are the Cleveland Indians. However, instead of the 26-year-old shortstop, the Tribe should be putting their focus on Britton. There's no denying they are in need of bullpen arms.

Britton certainly isn't guaranteed to recreate his incredible 2016 season, in which he was in contention of a potential Cy-Young Award. But, he will be a consistent southpaw option that has a proven track record.

While Machado certainly is the blockbuster move that the Indians fanbase would love to see, he has stated his desire to only play at shortstop, so if he is added to the roster, what happens to Francisco Lindor?

Britton is the better bet, no doubt. However, the Indians would need to act fast, as the Boston Red Sox have been heavily linked to the 30-year-old lefty.

With the future uncertain as to what happens in regards to trade moves, the Cleveland Indians are most definitely in need of help with their 'pen, and Britton would be a fantastic addition.
