Ever since they went 11-3 and won the ACC's Coastal division in 2015, things have been trending the wrong direction for North Carolina. The year after they went 8-5 finishing just shy of first place.

Last year, however, the team went 3-9 with a 1-7 record in conference, good for a last place finish in the Coastal division. As a result, head coach Larry Fedora is now on the hot seat.

Though the ACC has been very competitive over the past few years, from blue bloods Clemson and Florida state to newcomers Miami and Virginia Tech, it seems that Fedora hasn't done as much at UNC as he's capable of.

Fortunately, just as Tar Heel fans wanted him gone, Larry Fedora gave them reason for hope.

That's right. Fedora was able to turn things around and sign a great recruiting class, especially by North Carolina's standards.

The incoming freshmen include William Barnes, an offensive tackle ranked fourth best in the class of 2018. The team also welcomes a plethora of wide receivers which includes Jordyn Adams, Dyami Brown and Antoine Green.

Now the pressure's on for Larry Fedora to make something happen. He doesn't have to win the ACC, but he needs to show that last year's disaster season was just a fluke and that better things are ahead for UNC. If not, he'll have to get the boot and the Tar Heels will have to look for someone else for leadership.
