Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
After spending the early portions of his offseason inhaling Hennessy shirtless, Nick Young is about to sign with another NBA team. The Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves have all expressed interest in signing the NBA champion.
I'm darn near Swaggy'd out being a Big Brother (TV show) aficionado. As for Swaggy P, Nick Young, the Kings, Grizzlies, Rockets, Cavs, Utah, #Twolves, others have kicked the tires. Told he sees a good opportunity here in MN, if interest ever turns more aggressive like last year.— Darren Wolfson (@DWolfsonKSTP) July 9, 2018
Young has long had a less than ideal reputation in the league. Out of respect for Swaggy P, we won't go into what he's done to deserve that image. After all, Young now has a ring to flaunt to 29 other NBA teams.
For the Larry O'Brien trophy-winning Golden State Warriors, Young averaged 7.3 points on 37.7 percent shooting from three-point range in just 17.4 minutes per game. And you're telling me that his Warriors don't want him back? What fools.
Talk about a motley crew of teams for Young to take his talents do.
Tom Thibodeau would put Young through a wall after watching him get blown by on defense. Going to the Kings would fiercely test the trend that everyone becomes irrelevant in Sacramento. The Jazz fanbase is not remotely prepared for Young's antics. Even James Harden would scoff at Young's style of play.
Hey, NBA general managers, this is what you're getting.
It's been over a month since the NBA Finals and Young is still wearing a bathrobe. Chances are slim that he's seen the inside of a gym. But what do we know? Swaggy P is an NBA champion and we aren't.
