7 NBA Summer League Jerseys Better Than Regular Season Threads

There are several NBA teams that could use some form of a uniform makeover. Perhaps they need to take a look at their own Summer League jerseys for inspiration. Here are seven teams that should change up the unis.

7. Miami Heat

This is more of a reminder than a makeover. Hey Heat, stop with all the white-hot, Heat and Miami Vice jerseys. They're cool, but I'd like to see the good, old-fashioned Heat jersey. The colors are nice and they're familiar.

Oh, and they're easy on the eyes.

6. Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks have been experimenting with their uniforms the past couple of years. The problem is, none of them look particularly good. There are just too many colors. Keep it simple with this clean red, white and black look.

This would be great for a home uniform.

5. Dallas Mavericks

I think it's the color of this one that's cool. It's a little bit darker than the uniform traditionally used by Dallas on the road.

This would definitely be a good change for the Mavs. The stripes down the side of the uni are an added plus.

4. Washington Wizards

The Wizards, like the Heat and Hawks, are suffering from the disease of too many colors. They should stick to this fresh, red, white and black jersey for home occasions.

All the colors match and you still get the small, Wizards logo above the 'i' in Wizards. Good job, Washington.

3. Orlando Magic

This one maximizes every good color about the Orlando Magic. The only error they made was making the number black. I don't see any black stripes on the side of the jersey, so why are you making the number black?

For the revised version next year, they should make the outer lining of the word "Magic" black. Or, just have the number be light blue.

2. Milwaukee Bucks

These are better than their normal jerseys for a simple reason. It says "Bucks" on the jersey and not "Milwaukee." No, I'm not hating on Milwaukee, but "Bucks" is a great team name and it needs to be shown off.

Also, the white line space down the side looks great.

1. Phoenix Suns

Why do these teams think these new uniforms with crazy colors look better than their old originals? This one isn't so much better, but then again, it kind of is.

The Suns logo is written in orange instead of purple. The purple writing looks better on this one. Not only that, you incorporate the orange into the stripe down the side.

Oh, and the "Suns" part is written lower on this jersey than the newer one. It's much better.
