LeBron James is suddenly the King of Southern California -- ​sorry, Kobe stans! -- and therefore it makes an abundance of sense that he would have a commensurate amount of statues, hand-carved reliefs, and ice sculptures erected in his honor. While we may have to wait for those, there's already a pretty tremendous mural of LBJ in the L.A. area.

​​Per TMZ, the mural is located on the side of a barbecue restaurant in Venice, about 15 miles from Staples Center. And there's a lot to love about it-- but that beard is definitely No. 1 on that list.

Of course, the denizens of the Independent Republic of Kobestan aren't all on board.

​​Hmmm. I guess that means it's game on, folks.
