Honorary general manager LeBron James is going to have to do a lot better than that. The details of the package that the Cavaliers offered San Antonio for Kawhi Leonard were revealed and the Spurs did not budge.

Cleveland reportedly dangled Kevin Love and the No. 8 pick in the 2018 Draft in exchange for Leonard.

Cleveland is desperately seeking a star they can insert in the Cavs lineup next to James that will persuade him to resign with the team. Leonard is one of many names that have been tied to Cleveland in recent weeks and he would be by far the best talent they could get their hands on.

For a player of Leonard's caliber, the Cavaliers must be willing to part ways with more than that. When healthy, Leonard is arguably the best two way player in the league and was the one glimmer of hope for an aging San Antonio team.

Cleveland faces stiff competition in their pursuit of Leonard. There are other teams who can offer packages superior to theirs. The Clippers can offer the No. 12 and No. 13 picks along with Tobias Harris. Don't forget about the Los Angeles Lakers who propose some combination of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball and draft picks.

Unfortunately, Cleveland doesn't seem to possess any other assets more attractive than what they are currently offering, so it'll take a miracle similar to the NBA Finals two years ago if they are to bring Leonard to Believeland.
